What wonderful advice! Thanks for offering a practical way to bridge the silence and awkwardness of grief for those of us not experiencing the loss. Years ago, when my sister lost her husband to suicide, I didn't know how to help her. This advice is timely, even years after the loss. It puts the focus on the positives of what their loved one brought to their life, instead of just on the loss, creating an opportunity to celebrate. Thanks Tina!

Yes, It does. It truly is a blessing so often for those who want to get out of the loss-focus. They want to refocus on all they gained, but sometimes we need a little nudge. Thanks for taking a second to share!

Tina thanks so much for sharing this! I so often am at a loss for words when speaking with someone that has lost a loved one. And the normal “It’s best not to talk about them because it’ll hurt too much”, often comes to mind. Very interesting perspective!

It’s true, sometimes we have no words. But this really does work, and not only do you have something to say, but your kindness in offering this space to celebrate will stay with them and uplift them long after your conversation ends.💕
