Journal of Grace
Journal of Grace is designed to walk you through the steps of a grieving spirit. Journaling can be healing. It can help you move forward from deep darkness into spaces of light, hope, and comfort. This journal offers a companion to walk beside you, before you, behind you, and even the shaky, uncertain steps ahead of you. By His Spirit, we can move from severe pain to peace.
You will be prompted daily to surrender your aches and wounds to Abba Father, who regards you as the apple of His eye (Psalm 17:8). He is the One who created you, died for you, and desires to hold you closer than your deepest sighs and greatest sorrows. You will also begin a practice of sitting quietly in His presence, in expectation that He will show up and whisper His truths into your grieving spirit. This practice of setting our hearts and minds on Him will settle our minds, as there is peace in His presence. It will remove lies the enemy has tried to plant in you in this wounded condition. It will point you to His Word, which is the Truth that sets us free (John 8:32). Who is the Truth? Jesus Christ, our suffering Savior. This is the offer in these pages: to sit with your Savior and soak up His truth.
There are 100 days of journaling space. Take your time. Each moment you sit down to journal, take a deep breath. Relax your shoulders, open your hands, palms up, and surrender what you are clinging to in that moment. Journaling now will provide a ledger of His healing touch later, as you revisit each entry and recount His answers to your prayers. Offer this prayer "Speak, Lord. I am listening". Sometimes you will write a sentence or a scripture reference that comes to mind. Sometimes it'll be an entire page full of His love. Let it be covered in grace, from Abba Father, and grace from yourself, to just sit in His presence and receive all He has for you.
